The Aquamen

A drunkenly raucous surf-revival group, the Aquamen formed in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA using a shifting lineup which has included guitarist “Un Capitan” Mike Drake, bassist Matt Harris (ex-Overwhelming Colorfast), and drummer “Lookout” Steve Loan provider; Drake and Harris produced Oranger upon their eventual departure. The group released two unbiased albums, 1995’s All Tanked Up and 1996’s Gin-o-Sonic, before putting your signature on using the Heyday label and documenting their initial nationally distributed record. Perform the Alkeehol premiered in 1999 using a lineup of “Ensign” Nat Bletter (electric guitar), “First Partner” Srini Kumar (bass), Turtle “Skipper” Meuniot (electric guitar), Zack “Luxury cruise Movie director” Pitt-Smith (saxophone, body organ, percussion), and “Cabin Guy” Vixx (drums).
