Close-ups of dance measures during ‘The Appassionata’ had been of a genuine ballerina. In non-e of her tasks within the film will Tamara sing, although two tracks, which ended for the slicing room floor, may have been hers. Her third film, which became her last, was the display edition of No, No Nanette (1940) where she performed Sonya. The celebrity was Anna Neagle as well as the film was aimed by Neagle’s spouse, Herbert Wilcox. Also within the film had been Richard Carlson, Victor Mature, Roland Youthful, Helen Broderick, ZaSu Pitts, Eve Arden and Billy Gilbert. Early in 1943, Tamara and vocalist Jane Froman had been on the USO tour to amuse troops in European countries. Their airplane crashed in to the River Tagus in Portugal. Froman was significantly injured within the crash; Tamara was among 25 who have been killed.
