Julia Biel

Julia Biel can be an British singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist rooted in jazz, folk, and spirit. Created in London and a indigenous of Sutton, Surrey, Biel went to Oxford College or university and played inside a music group. After she was called Perrier Vocalist of the entire year in 2000, she became a member of the supportive F-IRE Collective (Fellowship for Integrated Rhythmic Manifestation) and, in 2004 only, was presented on recordings by Polar Carry, Oriole, and Unity Collective. The next year, she produced her appropriate solo debut with NOT BY YOURSELF. Although she didn’t to push out a follow-up until a decade later, she continuing to collaborate with Polar Carry, was presented on Ben Watt’s “Guinea Pig,” and documented “Bright Celebrity” with Watt and Stimming. In 2015, she released Like Letters & Additional Missiles, an recording that resulted in a MOBO (Music of Dark Source) nomination in the group of Best Jazz Work.
