Laura Abitia

After she graduated from your National Music College with an ethnic-musicologist degree, Mexican singer/songwriter Laura Abitia made her debut before a significant audience with an organization called Cuatrova, performing “Sabina” while taking part in a national singing contest in 1988. In 1990, the designer made up music for the neighborhood TV series Un Abuelo con Yo, made by Pedro Damián. After teaming up with Jorge García Montemayor, Erika Hernández, and Enrique Quezada, Laura Abitia’s self-titled recording was presented go on Dec 11, 1997. She later on created the musical Mujeres En Fuga.
