Soon after the dissolution of their twee punk band P.S. Elliot in 2011, vocalist/guitarists Allison Crutchfield and Kyle Gilbride transferred to Brooklyn and quickly began up a fresh task, Swearin’. Allison have been in rings since her primary college days with sister Katie Crutchfield, who began the introspective single task Waxahatchee after P.S. Elliot’s break up. Recruiting bassist Keith Spencer and drummer Jeff Bolt, Swearin’ held the fuzzy energy of middle-’90s indie rock and roll rings as different as Jawbreaker, Created to Spill, or Liz Phair, while appropriate nicely in to the 2010s D.We.Con. punk and house-show picture. The music group released a six-song demonstration cassette entitled Just what a Dump in Dec of 2011, pursuing it with an effective self-titled LP in 2012, and Browsing Strange in past due 2013. Around enough time of Browsing Strange, the music group also appeared on the compilation 7″ of Led by Voices addresses with like-minded rings such as Annoyed and Screaming Females.
