Following the collapse from the Lexington, KY, rock outfit Black Cat Bone in the first ’90s, guitarist/vocalist David Angstrom made a decision to form a fresh heavy rock-band in 1993. Dubbed Supafuzz, following the 1970s electric guitar pedal, Angstrom, bassist Dean Smith, and Chris Hardesty started playing displays around the neighborhood scene. Pursuing some lineup adjustments, the group released two LPs, the self-titled Supafuzz and ABOUT the Rock and roll. Since 1994, Supafuzz continues to be playing shows around the Kentucky region. It wasn’t until primary drummer Chris Hardesty still left, however, the fact that group documented the 11-melody LP Pretty Empty Web page for the indie label Violently Hip with Hardesty’s substitute, Chris Leathers. THE BRAND NEW York-based Gotham Information caught wind from the music group and agreed upon them on in nov 1998. The imprint re-released Fairly Blank Page like a self-titled LP soon thereafter, adding three fresh songs towards the 11 pre-existing types. Following a re-release, bassist Dean Smith remaining and was changed by Jason Groves. Supafuzz released their second full-length LP, ABOUT the Rock and roll, on Gotham Information in nov 2000.
