Student Rick

Once an unknown music group from Indiana, Pupil Rick caught the attention of Victory Reports, who after that introduced the punk-pop music group with emo tendencies towards the globe. The young music group proceeded to go from playing in Midwestern plantation cities to playing on the 2002 CMJ SONGS Marathon seemingly right away. In summer of this same year, Pupil Rick — made up of Adam Reiter (electric guitar/vocals), Brett Jones (electric guitar/vocals), Jason Pavilanas (bass), Zach Davis (drums) — documented its debut record in Fort Collins, CO, with Costs Stevenson, formerly from the Descendents. Victory released the record, titled Soundtrack for the Generation, in Oct 2002, and Pupil Rick embarked over the Victory Information Tour 2002 with labelmates Capture 22, Quality, and Reach the Sky. A continuously touring band, Pupil Rick also toured nationally with Ann Beretta as well as the 2002 Vans Warped Tour.
