Garage area punk duo Road Eaters shaped in 2007 after bassist John Zero (Fleshies, Triclops!) and drummer Megan March (Prior to the Fall, Younger Fans) fulfilled through famous Berkeley, California golf club 924 Gilman Road and linked over their like of ’90s punk, riot grrrl, and D.We.Y. tradition. No and March contacted the band like a 50-50 cooperation, sharing songwriting responsibilities with an focus on styles of alienation and personal and politics challenges. Tempering the activist soul from the ’90s Pacific Northwest underground using their freewheeling East Bay punk revivalist origins, Street Eaters shipped their socially mindful lyrics with call-and-response vocals and treble-cranked bass, getting their sonic market somewhere within Dutch post-punk alchemists the Ex lover and rousing Portland-based indie rockers the Thermals. The duo debuted in 2008 on the break up 7″ with Anaheim punk-pop trio White colored Night, following in ’09 2009 using the We Observe Monsters EP. A break up 7″ with Chico, California-based Severance Bundle came this year 2010 as the duo created its full-length debut, Rusty Eye and Hydrocarbons, slated for any July 2011 launch within the Plan-It-X and Bakery Outlet brands.
