Stray from the Path

Based away of Lengthy Island, NY, Stray from the road create chaotic, unstable hardcore/metalcore with brutally honest lyrics criticizing police and the overall injustices of society. These were produced in 2001 by Thomas Williams, John Kane, Justin Manas, Ed Advantage, and Frank Correira. Carrying out a 2002 self-released demonstration (People Over Revenue), the initial lineup released a debut full-length, Sound Prozac, on Satisfaction Recordz in 2003. Our Oceania (released by Five Stage Records) implemented in 2005, and singer Edge still left the music group and was changed by Andrew Dijorio, usually referred to as Drew York. Amidst countless touring over the USA, Stray from the road released Steps to make a Ucalegon, a divide record with Lilu Dallas, on Five Stage Information in 2007. SftP agreed upon to Sumerian Information who released Villains (made by Kurt Ballou of Converge) in 2008, and the lineup transformed once again, with Ryan Thompson changing Correira on bass, Manas shifting from drums to electric guitar to displace Kane, and a fresh drummer, Dan Bourke (ex-This Is normally Hell), arriving aboard. This lineup documented Make Your Very own History with manufacturer Misha “Light bulb” Mansoor, that was released in ’09 2009. Thompson still left the band this year 2010 and was changed by bassist/vocalist Anthony Altamura. Pursuing comprehensive touring of THE UNITED STATES and European countries, the group documented its 5th full-length album Increasing Sun with manufacturer Will Putney. Featuring visitor appearances by people of Comeback Child, the Ghost Inside, and Norma Jean, the recording premiered in 2011. Putney came back to create SftP’s sixth recording, Anonymous, including contributions by people of letlive. and Adhere to Your Weapons. The album premiered in 2013 and strike the very best 40 from the Billboard Best 200 album graph. Subliminal Bad guys, the group’s seventh full-length, adopted in 2015.
