Sofia Talvik

Swedish singer/songwriter Sofia Talvik relocated from the tiny West Coastline island of her delivery to Stockholm at age 18 to pursue a profession in music. Following the discharge of her sparse debut EP, Talvik started writing her initial full-length, rehearsing it again and again with her music group, the Tallboys. The ensuing Blue Moon, documented in only under 40 hours of fundamentally live periods in the studio room, premiered in 2005 to rave testimonials in her indigenous Sweden. In 2007 Talvik released Road of Dreams on her behalf very own Makaki Music label. The record featured the one “It’s Just Appreciate,” a duet with Suede guitarist Bernard Butler.
