Sneaks

Sneaks may be the minimalist post-punk task of Washington, D.C.-structured musician Eva Moolchan. A wondering and strangely witty mixture of chanted or spoken phrase vocals more than a sparse bed of lo-fi bass and drum machine, Moolchan released her debut LP, the short but effective Gymnastics, in 2015. Lauded by critics, Gymnastics received a Western european release that calendar year by Parisian label Risk Records. A yr later, Sneaks authorized with Merge in the U.S., plus they reissued her debut in Sept 2016. Moolchan’s second Sneaks recording, It’s a Misconception, premiered by Merge in March 2017.
