Andrew Sims — known simply as Sims — is a Minnesota-based rapper and person in the choice hip-hop clothing Doomtree. Elevated in the Minneapolis suburb of Hopkins as well as the boy of two music artists, Sims was musically willing from an early on age group. By his teenagers he previously gravitated toward hip-hop and started recording his very own music at the neighborhood home studio room of rapper/manufacturer P.O.S. In 2002, after graduating senior high school, Sims, along with P.O.S. and several like-minded rappers, shaped the underground hip-hop collective Doomtree, releasing many albums including 2003’s False Expectations XIV. Buoyed with the group’s developing profile, Sims released his debut single album, 2005’s Lighting Out Paris. Then returned with Poor Period Zoo in 2011. In 2014, Sims released his third full-length record, Field Notes, offering the one “Uh Huh.” AS PART OF YOUR found its way to 2016 and became Sims’ highest charting work to day, debuting around the Billboard Heatseekers and R&B/Hip-Hop graphs at quantity 18 and 34, respectively.
