Shrag

Hailing from Brighton, the high-energy indie rock-band Shrag shaped in 2004. Composed of Helen Ruler (vocals, keyboards), Stephanie Goodman (vocals, keyboards), Leigh Anne Walter (vocals, drums), Bob Dark brown (vocals, electric guitar), and Russell Warrior (bass), the music group began playing displays and soon captured the hearing of indie label Where It’s at Can be WHAT YOUR LOCATION IS. They released their initial single, “Speak to the Still left”/”Hopelessly Squandered,” for the label in 2006. Three even more singles followed simply because the music group continuing to tour and gain enthusiasts because of its brainy, melodic indie pop. We were holding collected (along with some stray paths) for 2009’s self-titled record. The record obtained some critical see and a tour from the U.K. helping the Pains to be Pure in mind upped their profile some, as well. The band’s first proper full-length album, Lifestyle! Death! Prizes!, premiered in Oct of 2010 by Where It’s At Can be WHAT YOUR LOCATION IS, right before the music group headed to NY to try out its first formal displays in the U.S. at CMJ. Shrag spent almost all of 2011 composing their next record, then strike the studio room with manufacturer Andy Miller, who caused Life Without Structures. The resulting record, Canines, was co-released in summertime of 2012 by Where It’s at Can be WHAT YOUR LOCATION IS and Fortuna Pop.
