Forming in the first ’80s from the ashes of synth pop music group A Formal Sigh, bandmembers Gayna Florence Perry and Robin Surtees comprised spinoff music group Shiny Two Shiny. Carrying out a brief lifespan using a Formal Sigh that included a Peel off Program, Shiny Two Shiny regrouped to generate an upbeat variety of synth pop with dark and minimal tendencies. The music group issued simply two major produces in its small amount of time, the extended-play one Halfway Over the Rainbow in 1982 as well as the Looking forward to Us one the next season. The music group drew positive replies from critics and were able to tour European countries and amass significant airplay aswell as make several TV performances before silently dissolving in 1984. Both halves of Shiny Two Shiny continued to much less celebrated solo function, and in 2014 a compilation entitled When the Rainfall Halts surfaced, collecting all the band’s known result.
