Led by ex-Wrigley Sisters fiddler Jennifer Wrigley, accordionist Sandy Brechin, and vocalist Fiona MacKenzie, Edinburgh-based folk strap Seelyhoo brings a brand new vitality to the original music of Scotland. Acquiring their name from a vintage Scots term for the membrane occasionally covering a fresh born baby’s mind, Seelyhoo offer an exciting mixture of strathspeys, jigs, sluggish airs, and tunes within the Gaelic language.
