Sean O’Connell

Self-taught Brooklyn-based maker/engineer/singer/songwriter Sean O’Connell blends the rural theatricality of fringe ’60s and ’70s singer/songwriters like David Ackles and Lee Hazlewood with the present day indie pop sensibilities of rings like Bon Iver and Music group of Horses. A self-described “musical extremist,” O’Connell collaborated with Louisiana-based rap designer Curren$y on the film and recording project known as The Muscle mass Car Chronicles before liberating his full-length debut, Totally free initially Light, in January of 2012.
