London’s dark pop quartet Scanners includes singers/guitarists Sarah Daly and Matthew Mole, guitarist/keyboardist Amina Bates, and drummer Tom Hutt. The music group began because the duo of Daly and Mole, who performed their 1st gigs backed by way of a drum machine; Bates was among the group’s 1st fans and quickly joined their rates. With the help of Hutt, who got shifted to London through the countryside soon before starting up with Scanners, the lineup was full. After playing gigs using the Fever, Electric powered Six, and Juliette Lewis & the Licks, Scanners linked to Dim Mak, which authorized the music group. The “Lowlife” solitary premiered in springtime 2006 like a teaser for Scanners’ full-length debut, Assault Can be Golden, which came that summer season.
