Sandy Lam

Among China’s biggest pop celebrities of the past due 20th hundred years, Sandy Lam rose to popularity in the 1980s like a Cantopop vocalist before expanding her group of fans significantly in the 1990s with stylistically diverse albums in Mandarin, Japan, and English. Delivered in Hong Kong on Apr 26, 1966, she produced her documenting debut in 1984 in colaboration with CBS Sony. Perhaps most obviously among her many albums are her past due-’80s City Tempo trilogy and her artistically daring 1991 record Wildflower, frequently hailed retrospectively as her masterpiece. Throughout the turn from the hundred years, she discontinued Cantopop and concentrated her efforts rather on the worldwide marketplace, documenting albums in Mandarin, Japanese, and British. Among these worldwide initiatives, the Mandarin-language record Appreciate, Sandy (1995) was probably her biggest achievement. In 2005 she released her initial Cantonese record in almost ten years, S/L.
