Sammy, the heavily Pavement-inspired collaboration of guitarist Luke Solid wood and guitarist/vocalist Jesse Hartman, released 3 albums before getting in touch with it quits. Debut Recording, released in 1994, and Kings from the Isle Empire, released in 1995, had been both released by Sonic Youngsters drummer Steve Shelley’s HAS THE AROMA OF Records and presented drummer Tony Maxwell. Their last full-length, Stories of Great Throat Glory, that was released by Geffen, adopted in 1996 soon before the music group decided to break up up.
