Made up of three users who pass the identity of Red, Gold, and Green, and generally clothe themselves in those colours, Reston, Virginia trio RDGLDGRN make music that’s equally stylish, mixing slick indie rock and roll and left-field hip-hop. Upon the discharge of their 1st solitary in 2011, “I REALLY LIKE Light” — a hook-laden power pop quantity called after a collection by Steve Carell’s personality in Anchor Guy — the associated YouTube video proceeded to go viral and RDGLDGRN’s achievement snowballed following that, helped largely from the participation of some essential power players in the music market. Cold War Children manufacturer Kevin Augunas created all of those other EP, signing these to his Fairfax Recordings label, even though in the studio room, inside a twist of destiny, fellow Reston indigenous Dave Grohl wanted to play drums. Pop maker extraordinaire Pharrell Williams joined up with up aswell, to help create and create the N.E.R.D.con song “Doing probably the most,” a standout within the group’s 2012 debut EP, Reddish Gold Green.
