Raydience

The all-star jazz group Raydience was assembled by guitarist/vocalist Ronnie Ray Padilla, pulling from current and former members of Tower of Power and Garaj Mahal, aswell as music artists who had toured and/or recorded with Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood, Weather Statement, Herbie Hancock, Sergio Mendes, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, as well as the Pointer Sisters. Raydience included Mic Gillette on trumpet and trombone, George Brooks on saxophone, Eric Levy on keyboards, Gary Dark brown and Kai Eckhardt on bass, Celso Alberti and Billy Johnson on drums, and Kenneth Nash on percussion. The group documented an recording of Padilla’s compositions, Raydience, released on January 26, 2010, by Megawave Information.
