Among Hawaii’s foremost performers, Rachel Asebido continues to be, along with Bobbee British and Gwen Gusman, an associate of popular Hawaiian-pop trio Kaleo O Kalani. Her single career offers paralleled her participation using the trio. In 1974 she experienced a successful single strike, “Eres Tu (Contact the Blowing wind),” which she sang in Spanish. Her latest single outing, What Like Has Joined Collectively, premiered in 1998.
