Playa Limbo

Playa Limbo certainly are a Latin pop group from Mexico whose design of music is influenced by pop/rock and roll from the 1980s. Founded in 2003 by Ángel Baillo (bass, history vocals) and Jorge Corrales (keyboards, development), the group later on added María León (business lead vocals, acoustic guitar) and Servando Yáñez (drums) before documenting a demonstration in 2005 that got them some preliminary airplay on Mexican pop radio, specifically the track “Un Eco de Tu Voz.” Frequently in comparison to Belanova, a Mexican dance-pop group similarly fronted by a female, Playa Limbo had been subsequently provided a major-label documenting agreement with Sony BMG and proceeded release a their full-length debut record, Canciones de Resort (2007). The record spawned some hits, especially “10 Em fun??o de las 10,” “Un Eco de Tu Voz,” and “Un Tiempo de Ti,” and was re-released in 2008 with reward material.
