Peter Thomas

Practically uncontested simply because the initial German electro-lounge pioneer, Peter Thomas fused the spy-string paranoia of John Barry with Carnaby Street go-go music and lounge in his recordings for many German sci-fi group of the 1960s, including Raumpatrouille (Space Patrol) and Der Bann von dem Sinister (The Spell from the Sinister One). His Sound Orchestra was also the start for another significant manufacturer, Giorgio Moroder. Lengthy neglected through the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s, Thomas skilled a revival of kinds in the past due ’90s. After Bungalow Information and Town Slang reissued a Raumpatrouille collection in 1996, Pulp sampled a monitor to generate the title tune for their record 1997 THAT IS Hardcore. Two Thomas choices made an appearance in 1998, Tanzmusik of general curiosity and 100% Natural cotton which recycled Thomas’ soundtrack materials for the group of Jerry Natural cotton films (Natural cotton was the German exact carbon copy of Wayne Relationship). The unavoidable remix album Warp Back again to Earth made an appearance in early 1999.
