Having become together in early 1995 as an acoustical duo between Rachelle Van Zanten (guitar/vocals) and Daisy Blue Groff (guitar/vocals), Painting Daisies didn’t officially remove until Carolyn Fortowsky (bass) and Kim Gryba (drums) had been eventually recruited. Producing a set having a lyrical content material of mix dressing and sheep herding, the rings first recording, Flambescence, debuted in 1998 carrying out a cross-country tour of the indigenous Canada. After time for their home foundation of Edmonton, their second recording, Fortissimo, was documented and self-released in July of 2000.
