Ostinato

A three-piece made up of Jeremy Arn (vocals and bass), David Hennessy (acoustic guitar), and Matthew Clark, Ostinato comes from the Virginia/Washington D.C. region, and was shaped in 1997, liberating their self-financed Uncommon Signal CD the next year. However the music group performed just sporadically in the time that followed, gradually building a faithful regional group of fans, but waiting around until 2004 before documenting their sophomore work, Left TOO MUCH Behind, then came back in 2006 having a third opus, Chasing the proper execution. All three produces defied easy categorization, as each noticed the music group tinkering with countless, unrelated forms sonic components of alternate, intensifying, ambient, and post-rock designs.
