Os Carioquinhas

Operating-system Carioquinhas was the 1st band of the remarkable violonista (classical guitar participant) Rafael Rabello. Created by him when he was 14, the group was created in the choro revival that required Brazil in the ’70s, and became recognized by its calm and swinging experience. The group got Rabello on the seven-string violão, Maurício Carrilho on the violão, Luciana Rabello (Rabello’s sister) on the cavaquinho, Celso Silva on the clarinet, Paulinho perform Bandolim on the mandolin, and Mário on the percussion. Operating-system Carioquinhas documented for Som Livre. Immediately after their becoming involved 1977, the wonderful LP Operating-system Carioquinhas no Choro premiered. The record included Alcyr Pires Vermelho’s choro “Gadu Namorando,” that was the theme for a significant news plan on Television Globo.
