Ormonde

Produced in 2011, Ormonde can be an American indie folk duo offering singer/songwriters Anna Lynne Williams (Lotte Kestner, Trespassers William) and Robert Gomez. Following the dissolution of a short love, Williams and Gomez journeyed to the tiny city of Marfa, Tx to create and record the ten tunes that would constitute their Hometapes debut. The producing Machine is definitely a lush, personal assortment of honest and susceptible exhumations of like both received and dropped, that dutifully displays each one of the artist’s musical inspirations, from St. Vincent and Emmit Rhodes to Midlake and Blonde Redhead.
