David Gonazales

A California indigenous, David Gonzales began writing album reviews in the Philippines in 1993 for 2 papers targeted at the expatriate audience. Then wrote weekly rock and roll album reviews like a columnist for Manila Instances and every week jazz album evaluations like a columnist for BusinessWorld. He’s created rock and roll, jazz and concert evaluations and also designer interviews since middle-1996 for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the country’s most broadly distributed newspapers, and has added content articles about music to many Filipino mags. He was Philippines correspondent to Music Information Asia in past due 1996, and became Philippines correspondent to Billboard in Oct of 1997.He was the just printing journalist given a one-on-one interview with jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis during Marsalis’ trip to Manila in March of 1998.He was a judge for the 1998 NU107 Rock and roll Honours, the Philippines’ leading rock awards display. He holds a qualification in British from San Jose Condition College or university in California and offers contributed book evaluations towards the Oakland Tribune, among additional newspapers.
