Niels Viggo Bentzon

Perhaps one of the most prolific composers from the 20th hundred years, Bentzen originates from a well known family members in Danish music, the Hartmanns. Bentzon examined with jazz pianist Mathisen and afterwards examined piano, theory and body organ on the Copenhagen Conservatory. He in addition has proved helpful in the visible arts; created poetry plus some from the text messages for his music; proved helpful being a music critic, being a writer for the political paper; and released books varying in subject from Beethoven to 12-build theory. His compositions are tonal but dissonant and so are frequently improvisatory and openly constructed. He provides written many symphonies, functions for piano, string quartets and chamber music, the opera =Faust= as well as the music for five ballets.
