Mortimer

Mortimer evolved away from a later on incarnation from the Teddy Guys, from Hyde Recreation area, New York, who all recorded a small number of singles for MGM and Cameo Information in 1966 and 1967. They transformed their name to Pinocchio & Puppets, for the two-sided instrumental one that was released by Mercury in 1967. The group divide shortly afterward, and continued to be a mostly ignored footnote in Beatles background. Some light was shed in the music group by Cardinal’s wonderful cover from the 1968 album’s “Performing in sunlight,” then your blinds were completely opened up by Rev-Ola’s 2006 re-release of the first record. Greater than a decade afterwards, their dropped Apple album was rescued from oblivion and released by RPM Information.
