MisterWives

MisterWives are an indie pop music group based in NEW YORK. Created in 2012 round the primary trio of vocalist/keyboardist Mandy Lee, bassist William Hehir, and drummer Etienne Bowler, they possess an unusual audio that combines components of synth pop, folk, and indie rock and roll, falling somewhere within the quirky dance-pop of WITHOUT DOUBT as well as the pastoral folk-rock of Of Monsters and Males. After adding guitarist Marc Campbell and multi-instrumentalist Dr. Blum, the group started documenting its debut EP, Reflections, that was released on NY indie Picture Finish Information in early 2014. With just one single EP plus some demos with their name, MisterWives garnered very much buzz among main music magazines like Interview, Paste, and MTV Buzzworthy. Their debut LP, OUR VERY OWN House, premiered in Feb 2015. After spending a lot of 2016 on tour with Stress! In the Disco, MisterWives came back in 2017 using their second recording, Connect the Dots, that was preceded from the rebellious solitary “Machine.”
