The Legendary Tigerman is a one-man blues-rock music group featuring Paulo Furtado, a Portuguese vocalist and multi-instrumentalist also associated with the rings WrayGunn and Tédio Males. Given birth to in Coimbra, Portugal, Furtado started his profession in the past due ’80s as the guitarist and songwriter from the psychobilly music group Tédio Boys. Ahead of his departure by the end of the 10 years, the music group released the albums Porkabilly Psychosis!!! (1994), SPACE Shit! (1996), and Poor Trip (1998) and toured america. Furtado consequently founded WrayGunn, a blues-rock music group where he played acoustic guitar and sang vocals alongside frontwoman Raquel Ralha. In colaboration with the NorteSul label, WrayGunn produced their recording debut with Novice (2000), accompanied by Spirit Jam (2001), Ecclesiastes 1.11 (2005), and Shangri-La (2007). In the mean time, Furtado founded the Legendary Tigerman, a one-man blues-rock music group where he sang and performed acoustic guitar and drums only on-stage. In colaboration with the Subotnick Businesses label, he produced his full-length recording debut as the Legendary Tigerman with Nude Blues (2001), accompanied by Fuck Xmas, I ACQUIRED the Blues (2003) and In Chilly Bloodstream (2004), the second option made up of remixes. He consequently turned to Rastilho Information and released his third recording, the critically acclaimed Masquerade (2006). Following a success of this recording and a tour to get previous Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, the Legendary Tigerman shifted to EMI for the discharge of his following record, Femina (2009). Offering collaborations using a ensemble of feminine vocalists, Femina was a smash strike that reached the very best Five for the Portuguese albums graph. It spawned the singles “Lifestyle Ain’t Enough for you personally” with Asia Argento, “These Boot styles ARE CREATED for Strolling” with Maria de Medeiros, and “Hey, Sister Ray” with Rita Redshoes.
