Atto

Los Angeles-based musician Atto Attie may be the bassist for the goth pop group Darling Violetta, most widely known for his or her theme for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off Angel. While still an associate of that music group, Atto documented (mostly by himself) his 1st solo recording, 14 Rounds Using the Killer Blondes, that was released in 1999. Substantially not the same as the severe goth rock and roll of his primary band, the substantially poppier and even more progressive-feeling (in the Ruler Crimson-meets-Barclay Wayne Harvest feeling) 14 Rounds Using the Killer Blondes hearkens to both Western film soundtracks from the ’60s and Frank Zappa’s even more lyrical moments.
