Milton Mapes

Alt-country group Milton Mapes was shaped being a duo by Greg Vanderpool and Roberto Sánchez in 1999. The task, which was called after Vanderpool’s grandfather, was created from Vanderpool and Sánchez’s knowledge within the music picture of Deep Ellum, a community in Dallas, TX. After spending per year compiling music in Nashville, Milton Mapes released its initial album, THEIR STATE Series, in 2001. Immediately after, Britton Beisenherz and Jim Fredley curved out the group. Today a four piece, Milton Mapes released Westernaire in the Aspyr Mass media label in 2003. It had been followed 2 yrs later with the Blacklight Snare, a full-length record, and Shady Valleys, a compilation of B-sides that premiered being a downloadable EP. In 2007, Milton Mapes continued hiatus as Vanderpool, Sánchez, Beisenherz, and Fredley embarked on a fresh task known as Monahans and released their initial disk, Low Pining, in 2007.
