Savoir Adore

Brooklyn’s Savoir Adore make atmospheric, synth- and guitar-heavy indie pop. Created by fellow NYU college students Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro in 2007, Savoir Adore authorized to the Cantora label — house to the likewise inclined neo-psych music group MGMT — and released The Activities of Mr. Pumpernickel and the lady with Pets in Her Neck EP. Savoir Adore quickly garnered hype for their concert events, which discovered the duo fleshing out their audio with a support ensemble. In ’09 2009, they released their debut full-length, In the Wooded Forest. 3 years later on, they returned using the ’80s desire pop-infused Our Character.
