Mick Farren

To state that Mick Farren was a “jack port of all deals” is positioning it mildly. Getting started as an associate of English psych rockers the Deviants, Farren traversed an extended and winding profession that included such occupational descriptors as vocalist, journalist, novelist, non-fiction writer, and — some might state — philosopher and sociable critic. The vocalist and founding person in the Deviants, he remaining that music group in 1969 to go after additional musical goals in another of the bigger titles in proto-punk, the Red Fairies. Farren continuing to utilize Kramer, and both released the Don Was-produced Who Shot You, Dutch? EP in 1987, and 1991’s Loss of life Tongue. Another collaborator in the Farren universe will be New York’s John Collins, who caused Farren and Kramer over the pair’s Loss of life Tongue.
