George Matthews

Tenor vocalist George Matthews performed using the Fisk College or university Jubilee Performers between 1924 and 1940 and was on the choral saving of George Gershwin’s basic Porgy and Bess created in 1954. This isn’t the same George Matthews who traipsed around the united states playing trombone with Count number Basie, amongst others.
