The Clique

Australian quintet, never to be baffled with any United kingdom or American bands from the same name, shaped in Perth in 1966 by Joe Orifici (vocals, keyboards), Mike Carr (guitar), Lenny Hayworth (guitar), John Tucak (bass), and Ferdie Ferrante (drums). They earned the traditional western Australian division of the nationwide battle from the rings contest and had been agreed upon to the Move!! label, where they lower a unitary, “Like Me Female” b/w “End, Look and Pay attention.” It had been too solid to discover an audience, nonetheless it was an excellent single, with an excellent hard middle-1960’s punk advantage.
