Mere

Mere came jointly in Denver, CO, in 2000 about guitarist and key pad participant Brian Bason, bassist Tony Burke, and vocalist Cory Tenbrink. The music group begun to promote its extremely melodic adult substitute sound at region clubs, and immediately after developing released its debut, ONLY Nine Songs. Regional buzz resulted in opening areas for nationwide notables like INXS and Seven Mary Three, and its own second separately released LP, The Position That Was, received stimulating regional press. In July 2002, the music group earned a $25,000 scholarship or grant through the Music for Youngsters Base (MYF), a nonprofit founded to market the professions of music artists aged 13-25. By this aspect, Tenbrink had still left the fold, to become changed by Christian Brucculeri. The music group continuing playing in Denver, but established its sights in the nationwide stage when it produced the finals of the 3rd annual Coca-Cola SONGS competition in Sept 2003. Pitted against two various other hopefuls, Simple would play that Oct on the CMJ Music Marathon in NEW YORK, using the victor executing for a nationwide TV audience on the American Music Honours in November.
