Marc Broude

Marc Broude can be an eclectic indie composer and musician whose function encompasses electronic music, experimental sound, ambient music, industrial, and dark metal. Broude started experimenting with uncommon noises when he was eight years of age, creating tape loops and merging them with spoken term materials, but he didn’t start dealing with music significantly until 2005, when after an extended period of psychological turmoil he dropped along with a collective of music artists, performers, and squatters in Chicago. Encircled by like-minded people, Broude soon created the sound/overall performance ensemble Panicsville, and in 2006 he also began a black metallic group known as Zog. Zog contains Broude on bass, with Chris Anderson and Eric Sepata on guitars, and Danny Cortez on drums; the music group released a four-song EP, Revive, but demonstrated short-lived when Cortez passed away ten months following the group premiered. In 2006, Broude documented an industrial-influenced solitary, “Psychological Warfare” b/w “God Smacker,” which gained enthusiastic evaluations despite released only like a 7″ solitary in a restricted release of 50 copies. Broude required a rest from music in 2007 to handle personal problems, but came back to performing the next year, and in ’09 2009 he released an album-length single task through his personal NoZen Information label, Rites of Zen, a 76-minute ambient piece that crafted discovered sounds, consumer electronics, and organic equipment into a soft but sinister soundscape. Another dark ambient record, Medicine, implemented the same calendar year, and this year 2010 he released Ill Spider, a cooperation with Tim Lash, and a divide discharge with Sequences, Medication/Vespertine: A Tragedy in a number of Tones of Gray. In 2011, Broude reissued the “Psychological Warfare” one within a remixed digital model, and an commercial/black metal inspired one, “Cruel Culture” b/w “The 6th Era.”
