Los Rehenes

Among the busiest rings in Mexico, Los Rehenes formed early within the 1980s in Fresnillo, Zacatecas — exactly the same little community that produced another popular Latin work, Los Temerarios. Though Los Rehenes spend the majority of their period playing intimate favorites, they will start into rousing corridos or stirring patriotic amounts. Comprising vocalists Javier and Roberto Torres, guitarist Jesus Ortega, bassist Jesus Lambero, percussionists Ben and Gerardo Torres, plus key pad participant Francisco Ramon, Los Rehenes documented many albums for the tiny 3rd party label DMY Information, then became well-known within the ’90s using the strikes “Corazones Rotos” and “Traicionera.” The music group agreed upon with Discos Sabinas (Fonovisa in the us) and released three effective albums within a row, En Lo Grande, Los Rehenes, and Ni un Primero, Ni un Ultimo, during 1992-1994. The nominal head of the group, Javier Torres, started documenting solo albums aswell in 1994, with Javier Torres con Banda.
