Born on Dec 12, 1941 in Bandoeng, Dutch East Indies, Dutch vocalist, popular stage celebrity, and television character Elisabeth Dorathea List, better referred to as Liesbeth List, became popular through the 1960s on her behalf collaborations with fellow vocalist/professional/countryman Ramses Shaffy, aswell for her Dutch translations of Jacques Brel’s chansons.
