Mark “Porkchop” Holder

A slide guitarist using a interest for the blues as well as the hard-hitting audio of the rocker, Tag “Porkchop” Holder initial produced his name as an associate of the organic and rollicking punk-blues trio the Dark Gemstone Heavies. Holder became a member of the Black Gemstone Heavies in 2004, and made an appearance on the debut EP, You Damn Best. By 2006, Holder experienced left the music group to strike from his personal, and he journeyed in the united states and around the world playing ferocious slip guitar inside a one-man-band structure. Many years of touring had taken a toll on Holder, and after many years of struggle with despair and chemical substance dependence problems, he came back to his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee to spotlight his health insurance and getting a clean begin. In 2016, Holder started gigging locally with a fresh backing music group he known as MPH, offering Travis Kilgore on bass and support vocals and Doug Bales on drums. Holder squandered no time acquiring the band in to the studio room, and in Feb 2017 Holder released his initial solo album, ALLOW IT Glide, via Alive Naturalsound Information.
