Letters from the Fire

Based away of SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, hard rock and roll unit Letters in the Flame was founded by guitarist Mike Keller in 2007 beneath the name Park Lane. Motivated with a 2003 Candlestick Recreation area show that highlighted Metallica, Linkin Recreation area, Deftones, Mudvayne, and Limp Bizkit, Keller, along with senior high school pal Grayson Hurd and a spinning ensemble of players, honed their chops touring regionally with rings like Gasoline before issuing their Michael Rosen-produced eponymous debut beneath the Recreation area Lane name in ’09 2009 via Compact disc Baby. By this time around, the band experienced secured the skills of primary member Clayton Income on bass, so that as their audio started to deepen, they chosen a name switch. The resulting Characters from the Open fire was extracted from the operating title of the next song, as well as the name graced the group’s 2011 EP Rebirth, that was made by Evanescence co-founder Ben Moody. The band’s second launch beneath the moniker, prefaced with a hard-hitting cover from the Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby,” was released in 2014. Several changes of business lead vocalist were produced immediately after, before Alexa Kabazie became a member of with time for the band’s debut recording Worth the Discomfort in 2016. Released on Fine sand Hill, the recording climbed in to the Best Heatseekers chart, as well as the band going off on tour, both headlining and in support functions for Artwork of Dying and Adelitas Method.
