Inhabiting an environment of chopped-up beats, DJ Screw-style warptronics, and eerie drones, Brown’s hallucinatory audio, dripping with coughing syrup and mystique, was initially heard on the split 12″ using the Bay Area’s Psychic Truth. Frequently cited being a contributor towards the 2010 “witch home” motion alongside famous brands oOoOO, Salem, and Light Ring, Not Not really Fun was thought to be the sonic vanguard of the experimental and vivid audio aswell as a significant vehicle for pressing female musicians towards the fore (the label’s exceptional compilation My Estrogeneration being truly a just to illustrate).
