Kosher got their begin in the small city of Warrensburg, MO, in 1995. Conceived being a three-piece, bassist/vocalist Remi Remlinger, guitarist Trent Light, and drummer Rob Garrow started playing jointly in senior high school, playing regional shows and composing songs. They started touring, ultimately playing displays with bands just like the Murder Town Devils and Leatherface. Through their moves, they fulfilled Josh, who originally arrived to the music group being a touring bassist in 1999. They held him within the music group but produced him change to guitar, combining a fuller audio. Kosher released two EPs, 1999’s Tired in the us and 2000’s Loss of life to Play, before putting your signature on to punk label BYO and finally launching their full-length debut, Self Control, in the wintertime of 2001.
