Kira

The soft indie pop sound of Kira was created when the Wuppertal, Germany indigenous switched from violin lessons to guitar lessons. When she touched your guitar she started writing smart pop songs, disregarding her schoolwork, and submitting her music to novice songwriting competitions. Among these contests was judged by maker Michael Hagel who quickly confident the songwriter to go to Hamburg. After a 12 months of collaborating and documenting the duo was contacted by composer Herbert Grönemeyer who authorized Kira to his Grönland label. In 2004 the label released her debut recording Inauswendig which presented the empowering solitary “Alte Frauen” combined with the melancholy strike “Der Sog.” 2 yrs later the solitary “Wenn Du den Himmel Nicht Aufmachst” announced the arriving of her second recording, the loose and free of charge Goldfisch.
