Karate High School

Like the majority of young bands, Karate SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL experienced some lineup changes in early stages within their life, finally solidifying in July 2004 around Paul McGuire (vocals, keyboards, electric guitar), Gabe Ausiello (electric guitar), Ray Bautista (keyboards), Dan Kingdon (bass), and Danny Glaspy (drums). The Bay Region outfit provided up an intense mixture of poppy punk, hyper post-hardcore, and eight-bit blips, getting the principle purveyors from the self-termed Arcade Advantage (aXe) motion (including, um, them). Their like of all factors video game transported over to their excessively caffeinated debut, Arcade Rock and roll, made by McGuire in his studio room apartment and released in March 2006 via EVO Recordings. Schedules over summer and winter with rings like Tub Band, Four Letter Rest, In the Last Time, and Cute IS EXACTLY WHAT We SHOOT FOR kept the people active and their supporters content, and helped to pass on the Karate Great love.
