Jonathan Nott

Jonathan Nott achieved success being a conductor in rather unusual fashion: without competition victories under his belt no mentoring conductor ushering him along, he launched his career in foreign opera houses, eventually conducting orchestral concerts privately, but often with contemporary or contemporary works on the bill. Actually, Nott created a popularity for his interpretations of avant-garde music, producing a documenting early in his profession (1996) for BIS that included functions by Xenakis, Berio, and Fornés. Nott debuted in the 1988 Battignano Opera Event in Italy, and the next year secured a scheduled appointment as kapellmesiter in the Frankfurt Opera. He shifted towards the Hessian Country wide Theatre in Wiesbaden, where he offered as Hoch Kapellmeister from 1991.
